Information 

All information is kept confidential and in line with GDPR. Information is password protected and hard copies of information are locked away. If confidential documents are being sent, they will be encrypted. 

It is important to be aware of the use of technology that for some clients, there is a risk about using certain media such as the internet and mobile phones. If you use these to communicate with me, then I will assume that it is appropriate to do so in my interactions with you.

Process of Vetting Clients 

Before signing contracts, there will be a call in order to make sure both parties are happy and clear on how I work; how I deliver and how I review. We will also touch upon points of contact, what are your goals, are you willing to put in the effort, meeting the costs and are you set up to succeed? 

All of these will be the start of an honest and transparent relationship.

Payments

Clients should pay on time, unless other arrangements have been made. Payments must be made in full, in advance of the session, unless agreed otherwise. Payments are made by PayPal or bank transfer.

Cancellation

If you are unable to make a call/session or you need to reschedule, you need to give 24 hours notice. In the event of an emergency we will work around this. If you do not attend a call, you will be charged the full cost of the session.

Services

The services that are provided by the coach to the client are made either in person or via telephone/video call as agreed together by coach and client. Coaching may address specific life issues/struggles. Other types of coaching include addressing values and identifying action plans, asking clarifying questions and reflecting on difficult topics which may cause emotions to be expressed. 

The client understands that in order for coaching to be successful, it requires both parties to be collaborative. The coach acts as a guide in order to facilitate change but it is up to the client to act and bring about the changes.

What The Sessions Cannot Provide

• The sessions cannot heal and treat situations including past events

• The sessions cannot offer insights 

• The sessions cannot reinstate stability 

What The Sessions Can Provide

• The sessions can help you to focus on the future-goals & passions

• The sessions can provide guidance 

• The sessions can help you to progress on your life path and work out what you want

Previous History

The client also must agree to disclose past or current psychological treatment. Coaching and counselling are not the same. I am not a licensed therapist or registered psychiatrist or psychologist. I don’t engage in therapy with my clients. If any mental health difficulties come about as a result of coaching, you must notify me so that I can discuss with you the appropriate referral.

Termination of Contract

The client has the right to terminate the contract at any time, as long as they have met the necessary costs. 

Release of Liability 

As the client, you agree that through using these Life Coaching Services, this is at your own risk. These are provided without any warranty of any kind. This service is requested by the client themselves. Any actions, taken or not based on advice is solely down to the responsibility of the client and not the responsibility of Live Like KK. The client takes full responsibility for the choices they make after being coached as well as any consequences that may occur. Live Like KK may provide information that may be of use to the client but it is up to the client to make their own decisions about the accuracy of the information provided. Live Like KK will not be liable for any incident or damages as a result of using the information.

 Coaching Disclaimer & Waiver

All the coaching services and communication that you receive that is delivered by Live Like KK along with information provided on the website https://live-like-kk.mailchimpsites.com are there to help you discover your limitations that are preventing you from reaching your goals. 

Coaching is not professional mental health or medical care. If you do feel like things are interfering with your functioning, ensure you seek help from a professional. 

Coaching is there to guide you to make improvements towards your future. 

By purchasing coaching services from Live Like KK, you confirm that you have read and agreed to the below statements and that you would like to proceed further. 

• I understand that the coaching services are not offered as a substitute for professional mental health or medical care and that they do not diagnose any conditions, nor is the coach acting as a counsellor. 

• I understand that the coaching industry is not currently licensed by a recognised regulator. I also understand that for legal reasons, the services that my coach provides will be provided from any remote area otherwise in the UK. 

• I understand that I am responsible for any choices made. 

• I understand that my coaching is not a replacement for therapy, nor will I use it in place of therapy. 

• I understand that any ideas that my coach offers are only for the purpose of helping me to achieve my aspirations. I am able to give my consent for the coach to assist me in reaching my goals. 

• I understand that my coach is not serving promises with regard to outcomes and is not limited to increased profitability and/or business success. 

• I understand that my coach will ensure my information is kept confidential unless otherwise stated by me and in writing. 

• I understand that technology is not always secure and I accept that there are risks of confidentiality when using email, messaging, phone calls, zoom/skype and other forms of technology. 

• I therefore release, waive and acquit and forever discharge my coach, and any employees from every claim, or right to compensation for damages that I may claim to have or that have arisen from acts of omissions by myself or by advice given from my coach. I also declare that no promise or agreement that is not expressed in this agreement has been made to me to sign this. This shall bind my heirs, personal representatives, successors and agents.
